This past year has brought on a lot of changes into my life. All for the better and I am so thankful I have the opportunities I do. Transitioning from a stay at home mom into a work from home mom has been the perfect thing for me. It allows me a creative space that I was craving and needing all while feeding the desire for me to be able to stay home with the kids.
Over the past little while I have noticed there are some items that make this new role much easier – outside of the obvious computer and wifi access. Things would not run as smoothly as they do if I didn’t have these:

Haha- sneaky me. No marbles… i hate them because they get everywhere! but they provide enough play for them on the floor and not on top of me so i can get a bit of work done

I can’t wait until my kids are old enough to be able to be trusted to play on their own . . . because, now, I need someone else in the house if I hope to work from home.

Oh when I say they ‘play on their own’ I mean they are not fighting over my lap space because they are playing “quietly” on the floor in front of me. One day we will both get to the space where they are able to play on their own (& then we will probably wish they didnt)
