When The Unspoken Begins To Be Said

April 7, 2011

Two months ago was a very important day for me. A beginning path to healing and a passion set into motion.  My nerves were shot as the new site went live and I sat; debating, anticipating and hoping.

Two months ago Unspoken Grief was launched.

Two months ago we began to break the silence of miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss and a community started to form.

I am in awe.

There has been 88 amazing and brave people join the community and share their voices. There has been even more who read, comment and offer incredible support.

Thank you to everyone who has shared your voice, joined the community on facebook or twitter and to all those who has shared this resource with those who need it.

With Triton’s ‘birth’ day approaching I am finding so much comfort in knowing I have somewhere to share my pain, my hopes and joy. I have people who understand and are not afraid to let me show my emotions.  This amazing community has kept me from feeling alone and invisible.

We are breaking the silence of miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss and ensuring that support and understanding is available for those of us who are grieving our losses.

I would love for you to help spread the word.  Add a button, tweet, join us on facebook and help us build a much needed support system and have our stories and voices heard.

and THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart.
