I have been blogging for almost 2 and a half years. I share stories of our lives, opinions and try to do a little advocating and educating along the way. It has been an incredible experience and I am grateful I have been able to turn my writing passion into a career.
I sometimes touch on topics that may be considered ‘controversial’. I am upfront (though, still respectful) about my passions — co-sleeping, breastfeeding, no-crying out, celiac disease advocacy, truth about gluten-free. With this comes people the Internet likes to call ‘trolls’ or ‘haters’. People who come by and leave crazy or nasty or rude or totally bizare comments — usually aimed to be hurtful.
I have had my fair share of these type of comments and I know they will continue as I continue to write and share. I adhere to the great rule of ‘don’t feed the trolls’, though I do admit to leaving comments back sometimes. I have been known to try and right the wrong message, clarify something or — if it’s particularly bizare — I will just say “I love you too.”
Well, now I will have a new thing to write. No words from me but just a link to a video that just says it all so perfectly:
So, thank you haters & enjoy!Share This Post: Tweet
