Motherhood is full of so much awesome. One of the perks of Motherhood is the built in excuses it can give us:
********
10. discovering ‘old’ things as new again – like running barefoot on grass
9. read all of our favourite books we used to read as a child
8. getting excited over ice cream trucks and carnivals
7. watching cartoons!
6. at least a monthly girls night -noisy kids is a perfect excuse to make sure it happens
5. smiley fries, Popsicles and sprinkles
4. slides, swings, kites and sandboxes
3. watch movies like High School Musical & say it’s really the kids who asked to see it
2. blame your disheveled look that day on your kids not sleeping last night
&
1: if you are not feeling chatty – there is no such thing as uncomfortable silence
- cause all silence is awesome

Yes – to get to read them all fun and in voices & then when you’ve read them so much you dont even need to look at the book. FUN
Doing things that my mom wouldn’t let me do such as blow bubbles in the house, finger paint or turn the entire living room into a fort:-)

I totally loved playing in the sprinkler the other day! Of course I said it was for my son but I liked feeling just like a little kid again.

That is what i love so much about it – you can say it was all for your son but it was also for you
Glad you had a fun time being a kid again xxo
What a great list!
I don’t have any kids, but I do quite enjoy the simple things-Running through the sprinkler, going around hugging trees {yes, I actually do hug trees}, push pops….It really is all about the simple things
