There has got to be someone else with the luck like mine. Honestly. I am near convinced I have the worst ‘luck’ or just doing way too much to focus and always end up doing something silly. Yesterday my hand met with the opening door. My hand then got jammed between the door and the wall and bent my thumb backwards.
Thankfully I have freakishly flexible joints and my thumb went with the flow – but still – I injured my thumb and wrist. I’m awesome like that….

I need to know I am not the only one who injures myself so often. Or the only one who does it so easily. Tell me, what is the weirdest way you have injured yourself?

This is all I got…
Once, my first year of college, I was walking down the stairs. I was at the last set before the landing on the main floor. One minute I was walking & the next I was on the floor with my legs still up on the stairs. To this day, I have NO idea what happened. It was like my brain short circuited & forgot how my body worked so I fell. Luckily, I wasn’t hurt much more than some bruised knees & a broken fingernail.

well, that sounds scary! I hope it doesn’t happen to you again!
I’m constantly injuring myself. The weirdest: Second grade playing red rover, red rover. We were playing too close to a brick wall, and I ran so hard I didn’t stop and ran right into the brick wall and broke my arm and got a concussion. Well played, Kristine, well played.

You are not alone! I’ve actually got quite a reputation for random ridiculous accidents that were just freak occurrances. For instance two years ago I got a concussion from being accidentally run over during a KICKBALL game. Yeah. Kickball, is now on my list of “Dangerous sports I will not play”, in high school too I broke my wrist tripping over my boot laces too one day. It was a really glamorous moment having to tell everyone, “Oh yes, I can’t participate in ____ because I have no coordination and tripped.” But anyways, don’t feel too bad! I’m right there with you!

so good to know im not alone. & you sound just like me – hehe.
I constantly cut my hands, which is really inconvenient because I decorate wedding cakes for a living.
When I was about 9 yrs old I was washing out a glass fishbowl in the driveway using the hose. I dropped the fishbowl and it shattered all over the driveway. But my hands were all cut up too! To this day I have no idea how I cut my hands if the bowl broke when it hit the ground. No idea…

huh – that’s an interesting one & you’re right — that does sound mighty inconvenient for your job!
Let’s see, I injure myself all of the time. Currently I have a huge bruise on my leg from tripping over a suitcase, but I’ve also managed to dislocate my ribs by breathing and my knee by sitting down at my chair. Not my idea of fun.
