provide a healthy lifestyle to all those with Celiac Disease and those who follow a gluten-free / wheat-free diet.
Packaging:
Since I received the cereal before it is being launched, the packaging my cereal came in does not include the printing. The photo at the top of the post will show what the boxes are intended to look like. Going from the photo and the leaflet Glutino provided to me, each box will come in a 284g (10 oz) package. As Glutino usually does, “Gluten Free” is in large print right on the top of the box making it known this product is safe for people with gluten intolerance, autism or celiac disease. Each variety is free from gluten and wheat, is kosher and fat free. Fortified with vitamins C, B6, B1, B2, B12, folic acid and vitamin A this marks the first fortified gluten free cereal available. The cereal is made up of corn meal and rice. An allergy warning is listed for soy and possible traces of tree nuts and sesame.
Taste and Texture:
Sensible Beginnings: I loved the texture of this cereal – being both a wonderful size and a great crunch to it. I do not like soggy cereal and these flakes held up to the almond milk leaving it crunchy right to the last bite. With a very slight glaze on top of the flakes it was neither too sugary or too bland.
