I was so excited when I was sent a product from the Momzelle collection to review for this site. I was first introduced to Momzelle when I was at home with my husband watching one of our favourite shows called “Dragon’s Den“. There the co-founder of Momzelle, Christine Poirier was showing off her amazing product.
According to Momzelle:
W
e are here to help you be active and outgoing and, above all, to ease your life when you breastfeed in public. Momzelle nursing tops have universal openings (which means that they fit every breast size) that guarantee discretion and comfort while you breastfeed. All of our styles are long through the body and are form fitting. You will feel good in those silky soft cotton and spandex nursing tops.
I was sent a
Nursing Round Neck Tee in red to test out and review. When I first opened up the package I was thrilled with how soft the tee was. It is made ethically here in Canada consisting of 92% organic cotton and 8% spandex. It has a universal breast opening designed to ensure discrete coverage and designed for all breast sizes. The shirt was made with the postpartum figure in mind so it provides great coverage of the stomach area and size of the bust is 1-2 sizes larger then a non-nursing top. The sizes are the same as what you would normally wear if you were not breastfeeding, so it is simple to pick out which one is best for you.
The first time I tested this shirt out was on a day my in-laws were coming over for Easter. I knew I was going to need to nurse my 13 month old daughter and I knew I wanted something discrete No better situation to test the Momzelle Nursing Tee out in.

I was absolutely amazed with the Momzelle Tee. It did everything I wanted it to do and then a little extra. I like nursing tops to be long enough to help me feel comfortable that my belly is not going to be exposed. The Momzelle Nursing Round Neck Tee was the perfect length to ensure that was not going to happen. The bust fit was perfect too. I am a ‘well endowed’ lady – especially so when I am nursing – so I was happy to have a shirt that fit my bust without stretching.
I have tried out several different brands of nursing shirts through out the year and the Momzelle has the best nursing opening I have tried. All you have to do is un clip your bra – lift up the nursing opening and feed. It was simple and provided such great coverage no one in the room knew I was actually nursing my daughter.

I am a huge fan of the Momzelle Nursing Apparel and really recommend it to any mother looking for a stylish, functional and discrete top. Momzelle also has tank tops, v-necks, hoodies, turtlenecks, tunics and more so head on over to their website and check out their amazing products. Momzelle can also be found on twitter, and youtube.

Hey Lara! Thanks for dropping in. Momzelle has a great line of products – they even have night wear and a really cute summer dress.
Hope to see you around again soon!
Love it! I have been hearing a lot about Momzelle lately and didnt' realize that they were Canadian based – huge BONUS!
Bonnie – yes they are based out of Toronto and many of their products are made with organic cotton. Great stuff! (and Christine is super sweet too)
Devan, thanks for sharing, I am soo going to check this brand out!! We are on the go a lot and my daughter HATES (understatement) things over her head. I do not mind breastfeeding in public, I just like to be modest about it, as I am well endowed also
!! This is really pretty cool!
