Product Review: Kinnikinnick S’moreables™ Graham Style Crackers
Kinnikinnick sent me a box of their new S’moreables™ Graham Style Crackers to review and I was so excited to try these out. It has been almost a million years since I have had a graham cracker or s’more so that is exactly what I intended to do with them.
The Kinnikinnick S’moreables come in a 220g box and are made of a combination of pea starch, potato starch, brown rice flour, sweet rice flour and tapioca flour. These are gluten free, casein free, nut free, egg free and yeast free.
The directions for making S’mores is printed right on the box so I went to work!
Preheat oven to 350 ºF.
Break Kinnikinnick S’moreables™ Graham Style Crackers in half and place on clean cookie sheet. On one side place one square of gluten free chocolate and on the other side place one large gluten free marshmallow.
Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until the marshmallow puffs and turns a light golden brown and the chocolate begins to soften.
Remove from oven and let rest for 1 minute.
Using a knife carefully place the chocolate half on top of the marshmallow half and gently press together to form a sandwich.
Now remember it has been forever since I have had an actual gluten graham cracker, but these Kinnikinnick S’moreables™ Graham Style Crackers did not leave me feeling like I was missing out! The texture of the cracker was a perfect blend of crunch and crumble and held up very well to heating in the oven. The crackers were the perfect size for a s’more and tasted amazing.
I have also used the Kinnikinnick S’moreables™ Graham Style Crackers in my Peanut Butter Bars recipe and they worked great for that recipe. I am going to try these out as a graham style pie crust next!
My kids approved of these and as a bonus they didn’t leave an awful goopy mess. They have got the seal of approval from the kids and myself – a real hit!
