Oh teething will cause even the most sane mother to lose it some days. Endless nights and days of a crying, screaming baby who is drooling all over the place – ugh!
Right now my 1 year old is going through this stage. She already has 5 teeth and number 6 is poking through – but she is not really taking it to well.
Since I have Celiac Disease I can not give my daughter the standard teething cookies as they contain Gluten which will cause a horrible autoimmune reaction in me – so she has to stay away too – I had to come up with something other then medications.
So, during one of these crazy, screaming, losing my mind days something struck me… she wants something cold … what to do …
The Solution: A Breast Milk Popsicle
I already had some frozen breast milk in our freezer so it was simple. Take out the bag – cut a slice off and I put it inside the Nuby: The Nibbler – instant Popsicle. Worked like a charm – finally silence!

Devan, I have to say – after reading this post I went out and got S a set of her own and they have absolutely saved my life! Before these that girl was literally doing the teething baby whine/cry ALL DAY LONG and now I give her one of these with frozen fruit in it about 2-3 times a day (usually when Charlette is eating) and OMG what a difference! THANK YOU!!!
I am so glad this has helped you. I know how hard things get with a toddler running around and a screaming child there seems to be nothing to do with. The nuby is how we introduced E to food – first with frozen breast milk then to frozen bananas and now she uses it when she is teething. It's a great product
I have a 16 no old and a 3 yr old with my 3 yr old daughter I used the teething tablets , but then found out they could have done harm.So now I use an apple slice or and frozen yogert works like a charm and no meds to do harm. Goodluck other moms and try not to pull our hair out in theses hard times.
