This week has been a hard one for the fitness plan and I admit I have not really been too motivated this week. It sucks really. I am not going to let it get me down though. I am sure it is natural to have a bad week, right? As long as it doesnt stay that way.
I have a long list of reasons why I had no motivation this week. the weather, my health, my husbands work schedule. it has been a very busy week. I wish i had the energy to go running this week but thankfully i did find some time for some cross training at home – doing some cardio and ab work out videos (those things kill yo).
The exercise has not been as energy-rejuvenating as i had hoped it would. 7 weeks now and while i can definitely run faster and further and can sleep better at night – overall i dont feel like there is as much of a change as i was hoping for. i am still very tired, groggy and i know there is something i can do to improve that.
So this week is a test of a new “diet” plan. I am going to cut out all meat and eggs and go on a vegan gluten free diet. My hope is it wont be that drastic of a change for me – being GFCF for over a year and growing up on a vegetarian diet it wont be completely foreign to me. I have a feeling that i need to do a “gut-recharge” and going to give this a try. I am going to be lenient - because i have to be so strict on my gluten free diet i will allow myself some random wavering but i am going to give this a try. I might last a few days or a week or if i find it helps my energy level like i am hoping it will — it can only help with my quest to fitness and energy.
