I Have A Confession & It’s Kinda Embarrassing

November 11, 2011

I never thought I would say this – to anyone. I never thought that this would happen to me to begin with but it has. I have fallen hard. It’s so embarrassing but I feel that I should talk about it.

It started with an innocent suggestion from the husband. One that I laughed at him for making. A lot. I rolled my eyes at the idea but figured there was no harm.

So I gave in.

& then it sucked me in. quickly too.

I stayed up all night taking it all in. I was hooked. The lame drama … the glitter. 6 hours of my life spent when I should have been sleeping soundly in bed was given to this silly suggestion from the husband.

But it was all too late. I am not hooked. Needing my fix – the next part of the story. Does Bella get turned? Does Edward let her? The pregnancy?! Oh the glittery drama.

I am a Twilight addict. Can’t wait for the next movie to come out (next week!) and I imagine I will be spending a lot of time reading the books soon too.

Oh and for the record – I am totally Team Edward.

Ha! I’ve read the books and seen the movies… but not quite an addict here.

I’m more of a Hunger Games girl. I’m counting down the days til that movie release!

I literally DEVOURED the books 2 years ago. Loved them all. I was a little embarrassed to say too! Someone posted a picture on their FB status recently of a bunch of ladies (our age) jumping up and down outside a Twilight Event holding signs that said “Twilight Moms” and something to the effect that if it was a bunch of 30-40 year old men jumping up and down for barely 18 year old girls they’d be arrested ;) Nothing to be embarrassed about – many of us there with you!

I have a feeling that I’d find the story somewhat bearable if they weren’t called vampires.

I have the books on mp3 (I can’t listen to them, they drive me crazy) if you wanted them that way.

my husband watched the movies with me – found them entertaining (we are huge fans of True Blood – so we like the vampire thing). Only thing we both dont like is the glitter – hehe

I devoured those books when each one came out. Devoured! I cannot wait for the movie “Breaking Dawn” to come out… in just one week.

P.S. I’m on #TeamEdward too!

Sorry, I gotta say it: Team Jacob all the way. LOL
As much as I could think of a million things to do with immortality, I’m just into the dark hair ;)

There is no shame in being a twihard! I proudly admit I am one, too. Hehe!

I even bought midnight showing tickets as a treat because the movie comes out on midnight on my birthday (kinda midnight of the 17th/morning of the 18th)

Welcome to the dark side. I was NEVER going to jump on that band wagon… but it happened to me too. :)

I read all of the books and I am a Twilight addict now. I know it’s teen drama but I was hooked. I read the second book in one day (before blogging, of course).
