I am sick & yes I stuff tissue in my nose
Yesterday was my 29th birthday (& yes i am freaking out about the big 3-0 next year) and i had a great day with family. Everything was perfect & wonderful and I even upheld a trend that happens every year.
I am sick with the flu. Full on head cold and 102 fever. But I never let that stop me from being the centre of attention and enjoying my favourite day of the year 
Today though – since something rare is happening here at the Accustomed Chaos household – my husband is home on holidays (never happens!!) so I am going to take …
A Sick Day!
I am going to spend the day up in my bedroom watching seasons of Mad Men and drinking gingerale and eating my favourite gluten-free cookies (KinniToos by Kinnikinnick). I am going to be responsibility free today. Well, the only responsibility I will have today is to rest, relax and get better!
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend & BIG “Wah-Hoo” ‘s for it now being SPRING!

Trust me, the big 3-0 isn’t too bad. I’m 33 now (ouch, that hurt to write), and the 30s aren’t half as scary as I expected them to be. It helps to look young, which you do. Enjoy your sick day–sounds awesome (except for the sick part).

Sorry you’re sick but it sounds like you have a great day planned regardless. I’m 29 too and just going to enjoy my last year in my twenties. I’ll worry about 30 when I get there. Happy Birthday!

I am so sorry you are sick, but the ability to take a sick day is priceless! Yeah for hubby on holiday.
