I haven’t really met anyone who doesn’t love bacon. I know my house is a big fan and with there being 5 of us here, making bacon for all of us used to be a chore. A big, messy, probably-going-to-burn-myself ordeal and it really wasn’t a good scene for me.
I have discovered though, that we can have our bacon, without the mess, without the spitting grease and it takes only a fraction of the time. It’s perfect for those busy mornings and the big bonus, it makes perfect bacon, every time.

- 1 package of bacon
- Line a baking sheet with foil (optional: place a grill rack on top) line the bacon on top , arranging so they don’t touch
- Place in non-preheated oven at 400°F and cook for 18-20 minutes or until crispy and brown.
- Remove from heat and transfer cooked bacon to paper towels to absorb any grease
Enjoy!

That is, precisely, how I make bacon. When done, I reserve the grease and then use that great when I make mashed potatoes…
