Gluten Free Chicken Wings

Gluten Free Honey Barbecue Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 20 chicken wings
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon garlic; minced
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • {to taste} black pepper, salt
  • 2 tablespoons gluten free soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free hot sauce

Directions

  1. Lightly season chicken wings with pepper and salt to taste
  2. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) with just enough oil to cover the wings.
  3. Fry wings in oil for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly browned.
  4. Remove from heat and drain on paper towel
  5. Preheat oven to 420 degrees F
  6. In a mixing bowl combine honey, ketchup, garlic, mustard, soy sauce, and hot sauce and stir until well mixed
  7. Line up fried chicken wings on a baking sheet and cover with the mixed sauce until well covered
  8. Place in preheated oven and cook for 15 minutes; remove and serve with fresh cut veggies
