
Gluten Free Honey Barbecue Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 20 chicken wings
- oil for deep frying
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon garlic; minced
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- {to taste} black pepper, salt
- 2 tablespoons gluten free soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon gluten free hot sauce
Directions
- Lightly season chicken wings with pepper and salt to taste
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) with just enough oil to cover the wings.
- Fry wings in oil for about 10-15 minutes or until slightly browned.
- Remove from heat and drain on paper towel
- Preheat oven to 420 degrees F
- In a mixing bowl combine honey, ketchup, garlic, mustard, soy sauce, and hot sauce and stir until well mixed
- Line up fried chicken wings on a baking sheet and cover with the mixed sauce until well covered
- Place in preheated oven and cook for 15 minutes; remove and serve with fresh cut veggies
