Embarrassing Photos: Passport Then & Now

May 3, 2011

Wanna see an embarrassing photo?  Passport photos are never really any good because of the fact you cant make any facial expression. Everyone looks crazy angry at the world & that just makes them funny.

This to me is extra funny because you can really see how much inflammation was in my body before going gluten free.  I weighed about the same in pounds in each photo but the difference is pretty noticeable (to me & everyone else i show who laughs at it).

I laugh every time i put these photos side by side.  So, have a good laugh I’m cool with it :) . Inflammation & a haircut can really make a pretty big difference.

What kind of world would it be if we didn’t laugh at ourselves every once in a while ;) ?

You look like two totally different people! If you hadn’t said you weighed about the same I would have thought you had lost at least 50 lbs!

Wow. That’s all I really have to say, is wow. Glad you’ve been diagnosed. A few of my friends have Celiac Disease and now that they know what it is, life has been loads more fulfilling.

Oh wow! Look at you :D

I totally see the difference-Isn’t it incredible what wheat/gluten can do to a person’s body!? And most people don’t REALIZE it, which is the saddest part.

I needed to see this. I’m trying to be gluten free (I’m gluten intolerant), but only at 85-90% at the moment. It’s one thing to have someone tell you the difference, but to see it is another story. I would have thought you lost some weight, but just to know that the bloating was caused by the gluten truly helps me.

Thank you for sharing.

And I argree with Andrea, cute haircut.

Now I am bummed because I haven’t had any significant reduction in inflammation in my face since going gf. Only been 20 months. Maybe soon?

Brave you putting the photos up though. I didn’t let anyone take pix in the year or so before dx because I was covered with open sores. Now there would be a comparison. My skin looks awesome now!
