2 years ago today I walked into the hospital at 37 weeks 6 days pregnant & ready to meet my “belly bean”. Walking into my second early induction I had some fears, reservations and excitement.
The induction began at noon & by 4:58pm – Baby E was in my arms (pic above is my first time holding the gorgeous new baby). She weighed a perfect 7lbs 13oz and was my easiest labor by far & came too quick for the doctors she too (just like Princess R) was delivered by the nurse.
I am kind of in shock that it has been 2 years! Every one of the 315 needles i had to take while pregnant (& 6weeks postpartum) was worth it. Every scare was worth it. AND we made it to our long term goal of breastfeeding for 2 years – something i am very proud of. It wasn’t always easy (especially in the beginning).
