I have been so absent lately, which is SO not like me. I miss you guys — & February kicked my butt — I am so glad to see it over now. We had sickness after sickness and then back again over here. A few bouts of the flu, a couple times with pinkeye. Colds, runny noses, throats so sore we couldn’t swallow. It’s been … interesting. I am so looking forward to getting back into normal routine that has the kids in school, me back to work and sunny, warmer weather!
I have been in such a funk lately that I haven’t had the energy to get to know my new readers and connect with all you who take the time to read. So, I thought it would be fun to do a little of a get-to-know me. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of the random about me stuff. It’s not all about me though so make sure you leave me a comment with a random fact or two (or five) about you too.
1. I have never eaten a corn dog.
2. I have a thing about feet — like really — i HATE them & i know hate is a strong word… trust me, i mean it.
3. I am afraid of fire. It really scares me and because of that, I’ve never lit a lighter in my life
4. I have never had a pop-tart
5. I could eat tacos or other Mexican food until I explode.
6. I am really shy & it’s because I have always hated the sound of my voice.
7. Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian, until I realized I’m allergic to most animals with fur/hair
8. I eat pasta with a spoon. Pretty much all pasta: mac & cheese, spaghetti, lasagna
9. I don’t care for those hot, all-inclusive week-long vacations. I’m not sun person and would be happier anyplace that’s quiet and away
10. When I was first eating gluten-free, I was terrified I would never enjoy food again. Happy to report, I eat awesomely!

Totally interesting you don’t like ice cream — like not a single flavor?
I hate feet too…ok, to be more clear, I hate toe nails, my husband sometimes will snuggle in or roll over in bed and brush my leg with his big toe-toe nail and it is almost enough to make me hit the ceiling, uuurrrggghhh!!!!!

That literally made me gag. I make sleep with one sock on — the foot that is closest to mus husband or we will sleep in separate blankets to avoid any foot touching.
My husband thinks it is hilarious that I hate toe nails…he use to tease me by saying “I am going to touch you with my toe nails!!!!” ahhhhhhh

awesome random facts! No pop tarts ever? I wish I could say the same. And I am glad I cannot say the same.
1- I ALSO LOVE MEXICAN FOOD. And because I live in and am from Texas, the Mexican food is DELICIOUS and everywhere.
2- I have never enjoyed salad. I try. I still eat it. I don’t like it.
3-All my random facts are thus far about food because I am 8.something months pregnant. And my appetite is… always. It is always.
4- I am really excited to go into labor and shove a baby out of my vagina.
5- I want my kid to have my husbands huge butterfly ears. SO SWEET. he hates them.

Haha, these are funny.
Those vacations have never appealed to me either. Too much skin is expected to be shown regularly at places like that, LOL!
The only Mexican food I like is Texmex — fajitas and quesadillas. Nothing actually authentic.
I JUST bought the first pair of heels I’ve even worn in my entire life, and I’m almost 27.

Ha! Love this.
1. I HAVE to turn the column on the tv by twos. If I change it from 12 to 13, my OCD goes crazy. Must be by twos!
2. I lived in Scotland for almost a year. Had the Scottish accent and everything!
3. I have to eat candy, again, by twos. Skittles, M&Ms, anything small, by twos.
4. I’ve never watched the Godfather.
5. I have to end lists in multiples of five. Thus this point.
